The I Ching is about three thousand years old and it does not tell fortunes. You bring a real question; six lines are cast; and what comes back is a description of the situation you are actually in and what this moment asks of you. You will see exactly what was drawn — the hexagram, any moving lines, what it is turning into, and what has been developing underneath — each with a short plain-English reading, and then the whole thing brought to bear on your question. Choose the approach that fits: an open consultation, a decision you are weighing, a situation you cannot yet name, the stage something has reached, or a quieter contemplative reading.
